Ensemble Mare Balticum and Lena Alebo

Sweden's nature is fantastic. Flora, fauna and a wealth of species to be proud of, nurture and show off - and 50 years ago, in 1973, the country's first nature center was inaugurated on Gotland, Öland and Omberg, to increase understanding of protected nature. Come celebrate with us on July 26!

All program points during the day are free.

At 10 Storytelling walk set to music with Lena Alebo and Ensemble Mare Balticum
Hear about thrills and frolics, and mysterious beings that may have resided at the foot of the mountain for hundreds of years! We move through the landscape, through both words and sounds. During the walk, there will be stories and memories from Stenshuvud - all in harmony with music by EMB. The hike takes about 1.5 hours, no pre-registration required.

At 13 Lunch concert with Ensemble Mare Balticum
For over 30 years, EMB has been playing the early music, from sweet love songs to dance ballads. With great skill and love, they perform historical music, from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, and all on period instruments! How could it have sounded in the areas around Stenshuvud - a long time ago? On the square in front of the nature center.

At 14 Saying under the oak with Ensemble Mare Balticum and Nelly Eriksson
Stories of the giants at Mount Stenshuvud, accompanied by an imaginative soundscape by EMB. Tales and sounds that transport us like a time machine back through the centuries! About 30 minutes, no advance notice.
