Duo Zarassi / Härenstam

The Swedish-Iranian soprano Negar Zarassi has touched millions with her singing with her warm and expressive voice. You may recognize her from the TV screen as a contestant on the quiz show "Kontrapunkt" but she is usually on stage and with her rich sound and unique ability to always create a presence in the concert room.
Guitarist David Härenstam, after an Advanced Diploma for Professor John Mills, has recorded and participated in a long line of internationally successful albums and has participated in radio and TV.
Negar and David met for the first time during the festival "In Between Music" in Båstad 2022 and have since appeared in various contexts. It is a highly appreciated duo that offers a varied program, everything from classic opera arias by Mozart and Schubert to Persian folk songs and ballads in chamber music format.
