Dag Hammarskjöld's Backåkra

The museum contains Dag Hammarskjöld's furniture, art collection and many of the gifts he received during his time as Secretary-General. There is also an exhibition about the British sculptor Barbara Hepworth, who was a friend of Dag Hammarskjöld, and two temporary exhibitions:
For Peace and Negotiation, about the UN peacekeeping forces.

Below the courtyard towards the sea is the beautiful Meditation Square.

The museum has a bookstore and a café.
