Dead Writers' Society

During the early autumn, three book circles have been held in three different Book Villages in Skåne - Borrby Book Village, Albo Härad Book Village and Önneköp Book Village. All the book circles have focused on the same theme - Dead Authors and therefore received the eminent name "Dead Authors' Society". Each book village has met on three occasions to delve deeper into the life and work of a now deceased author. This autumn, the focus has been on John Steinbeck. The finale of the book circles will take place at Borrby Bio on October 11th, where even those of you who have not participated in the book circle are welcome to participate.

Program:
2:00 PM - Participants in the various book circles discuss the books by John Steinbeck that they have read during the autumn.
3:30 PM - Coffee break
4:00 PM - Screening of a film based on one of John Steinbeck's novels. The film had its Swedish premiere on October 10, 1955 and is 1 hour and 58 minutes long.
