Cosmic Museum – SE/EN/DE/DK

At the exhibition “Window to Eternity”, the visitor can for a moment move from the current lifeless material worldview up to the eternal horizon of life, as Martinus (1890-1981) spontaneously and unexpectedly experienced in Copenhagen at Easter 1921.

Without prior knowledge or education, Martinus drew his “cosmic symbols” to convey his experience. The symbols show how Martinus experienced that death does not exist, but that all of us, without exception, are born into a new body when the old one has become too worn out. He saw how pain and suffering over time create the ability for empathy and love.

One could say that he saw the inner spiritual side of the evolutionary development that Darwin pointed to. And the symbols express that development is not yet complete...
