Chamber jazz in the Abbey Church is a popular feature of the jazz festival.

In this duo concert, two well-known names in Swedish jazz, pianist Claes Crona and trumpeter and singer Peter Asplund, interpret pearls from a hundred-year-old musical treasure.
The main theme is classic jazz songs composed in 1925. How about “Sweet Georgia Brown”, “Always”, “Dinah”, “Manhattan”, “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby”, “I Want to Be Happy” and “I’m Sitting on Top of the World”?
The concert is also a tribute to jazz figures born in 1925: Leif “Smoke Rings” Anderson, Gunnar “Siljabloo” Nilson, Mel Tormé, June Christy, Oscar Peterson and Johnny Mandel.
