Casanova

After last year's success with Cinderella, the cream of Sweden's opera singers gather again at Ystad's theater for a new insane operetta. This year we meet: Casanova.

Stingy noblemen, beggars with leprosy and angry tax collectors try to get along under the rock-hard grip of the church as recession and misfortune strike the village. When hope is lost, the one who might be able to save them arrives: the legendary seductress Casanova. But things don't turn out quite as the villagers imagined.

Laughter-inducing lyrics and magnificent music performed by 40 singers and musicians, led by Marianne Mörck and Rickard Söderberg.
