A concert with Bror Gunnar Jansson is a journey through time and genre – from swinging country blues and raw southern gothic to dark, enigmatic killer ballads. The music ranges from his first solo album in 2012 to yet unreleased material, always with a deep anchoring in American folk music and storytelling tradition. For the evening, Bror Gunnar has assembled a dreamlike ensemble of multi-talented musicians: Emma Augustsson on vocals, cello, keyboard & percussion (1900), Love Meyerson on drums, percussion & accordion (Anna von Hausswolff, Lars Demian), Anton Svanberg on tuba, guitar & percussion and Bror Gunnar himself on vocals, guitar, drums & percussion.
