August Strindberg’s Ett Drömspel (A Dream Play)

The acclaimed production of August Strindberg's Ett Drömspel (A Dream Play) is returning to Rynge Teater!

In the play, the goddess Indra's daughter descends to Earth to experience human life. As a recurring motif, Indra's daughter, called "Agnes," repeatedly says, "It is a pity for mankind." Strindberg himself described Ett Drömspel as "my most beloved drama, my greatest pain’s child."

Christer Jonsson's production at Rynge Teater, which premiered in the summer of 2018, offers a modern interpretation, an all-encompassing work featuring dance, music, and film.
