To recreate a trade stall
During the year, Österlen's museum is rebuilding the museum shop with inspiration from the very first trade stall that existed in the premises from 1848. What did it look like then? Employees at Österlen's museum reflect on questions that arise in the run-up to the redevelopment. What is hidden behind layers of renovations of the venue? How did a trading post work in the 1800s? How did the early shops change the urban space and the way people consumed?
The Fastlagsbulle lecture is arranged by Österlen's museum in collaboration with the Association for the Preservation of Ancient Monuments and Homeland in South-Eastern Scania. After the talk, coffee and fixed-team buns are served. Price: SEK 150 (Fornminnesföreningens members SEK 130) including coffee and fixed bun.
