In a bleak office landscape during the 70s, the boss rules with an iron fist. He takes credit for all the ideas of the female employees. But something new has started to happen among the faxes and typewriters – the women are tired of being overlooked for promotions, tired of being belittled and harassed. Suddenly, sparks fly and plans for a revolt are formed! And who could have guessed how far you can get with a few simple office supplies – and maybe a tiny bit of rat poison....?

Suddenly, the office is turned upside down, and nothing will be the same! But can the new order last – or will the boss get his revenge in the end...?

ScenÖsterlen's fantastic youth group presents a wonderful show with rousing ensemble numbers, a strong story about justice, respect, and rebellion, and great musical numbers – including, of course, Dolly Parton's wonderful title song 9 to 5 in the musical version!
