9 to 5 – The Musical
In a barren office landscape during the 70s, the boss rules with an iron fist. He directs and sets and takes credit for all the ideas of the employed women. But something new has begun to happen among the fax machines and typewriters - the women have grown tired of being counted out for feeding, tired of being diminished and harassed. Suddenly sparks fly and plans for revolt are created! And who knew how far a few simple office supplies could go - and maybe a tiny, tiny pinch of rat poison....?

Suddenly the office is turned upside down, and nothing will be the same! But can the new order be - or will the boss get his revenge in the end...?

ScenÖsterlen's fantastic youth group presents a wonderful show with rousing ensemble numbers, a strong story about justice, respect and rebellion, and awesome song numbers - including, of course, Dolly Parton's wonderful title song 9 to 5 in a musical version! Recommended for ages 7 and up, but can work for younger children as well
