This concert, “Pasodoble & Beyond”, takes its cue from Lars Danielsson’s and Leszek Możdżer’s collaboration “Pasodoble” (2007), a critically acclaimed duo album with exploratory dialogues in a jazz landscape colored by art music and folk music.
In its review of the album, the music magazine Concerto praised “a wonderful duo where virtuosity and musicality go hand in hand and beautiful, timeless music beyond trends is created”.

Our duo also has a collaboration with percussionist Zohar Fresco that stretches back over twenty years. The trio has released several albums. The first was “TheTime” (2005).
The latest, “Beamo”, was released at the beginning of the year.

In 2019, Możdżer–Danielsson–Fresco played at the Ystad Jazz Festival.
