Özz Nujen STANDUP at Österlen

Özz is one of Sweden's biggest stand-up comedians who is neither afraid to joke about Swedish arms exports nor to pressure Norway's former Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg. In 2013, Özz Nûjen appeared for the second time in "Summer in P1". He has also worked as a presenter and led "Morgonpasset i P3", "Lika oliga" and "Zero Impact" on SVT and led the talk show "Özz i P1?. Özz Nûjen is also established as an actor and has played in several Swedish films such as the Wallander detective story "Skytten", "Tusenbröder", "The Aspirants", the "Anna Holt" series and SVT's sci-fi series "Real People" which was sold to 50 countries. In 2014, he was one of the main roles in the football comedy "10,000 hours" together with Peter Magnusson. Özz Nûjen has also achieved success on the theater stage, and his roles include Puck in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at Uppsala City Theatre, Nobel laureate Dario Fo's play "Mistero Buffo" and "Richard III" at Riksteatern. Özz Nûjen has been awarded several prizes and awards. In 2012 he received the Eldh-Ekblad Peace Prize from the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Association and in 2013 he was awarded the Theater Association's Karl Gerhard Scholarship. In 2014, he received Expressen's satire award Ankan, and in the justification one could read, among other things, "Özz Nûjen has the brain, heart and backbone that characterize good satire". He and fellow comedian Måns Möller have also participated in the critically acclaimed show "Världens Historia - Den osminkade sanningen", the continuation of the audience hit "Sveriges Historia" on tour and with the Riksteatern's hit production "Laika" and "Kebaben på Skäret". In the spring of 2023, Özz played the main role in the hit series Flykten från Östermalm on SVT and recently he could be seen in "Min sanning" on SVT.
