Hiking Rock carvings Simrishamn

Gathering at 10.00 am in the parking lot on the east side of Branteviksvägen between Simrishamn and Brantevik. We walk between two of Österlen's petroglyphs, Yxornas häll and Stenkilsritningen. Archaeologist and cultural historian Lena Alebo leads the walk and talks about the carvings, the culture that was created around 3,500 years ago and the latest in Bronze Age research.
