Wader viewing at Ristören

Now is the time when the arctic waders move south along our coasts. Here at Österlen has
we quite a few muddy beaches where they can find food, but Ristören below Örnahusen is one of
the exceptions. We get the help of the experienced bird watcher Agne Paulsson to figure out which different species we
looking through binoculars and binoculars. Because there is a shortage of parking spaces near Ristören
we walk 2.6 kilometers, single track, along the beautiful and bird-rich coast down to the waders
stop and watch along the way. Maybe a seal shows up?
BRING coffee and binoculars (preferably binoculars if you have them).
