Tolstoy and Buczek with Claes Crona Trio

Viktoria Tolstoy and Vivian Buczek are today two of Sweden's foremost jazz singers. They met 10 years ago and found each other immediately in humor, music and friendship. Now they finally get the chance to sing together.

Vivian and Viktoria both live in Malmö where they hang out regularly as close and good friends in addition to music. Viktoria originally from Uppsala and Vivian from Malmö. The most distinctive and common thing for Vivian and Viktoria is that both dynamic and colorful singers possess an outstanding breadth and feeling for the jazz idiom, regardless of the style, tempo or dynamics they throw themselves into. With the blues, soul and swing as the main pillars.

Two natural talents who take the stage and the audience by storm.

Claes Crona has played and toured with many international and Swedish musicians for many years. Putte Wickman, Arne Domnérus,"Toots" Thielemans Lill Lindfors, Svante Thuresson, Benny Goodman, Harry "Sweets" Edison, Stan Getz, Scott Hamilton, Stacey Kent, Veronica Swift, Anita O'day, Abbey Lincoln and more.

Claes with trio has made a large number of CD/LP discs with several of the listed artists. Most recently with Svante Thuresson (FOUR), Scott Hamilton (AMERICAN STANDARDS) and previously with Viktoria and Vivian.
