Sports holiday in Simrishamn municipality

At the library, Österlen's museum and Ungdomens hus Bénka-dí, there will be fun with animals, excursions, role-playing, cinema, workshop in manga, pizza evening and ancient finds!

Monday, February 19, this year's sports holiday kicks off with a repeat of a real favorite when exotic animals from the Malmö Reptilcenter visit the library again. The animals broke visitor records the last time they were here when they attracted several hundred children.

Draw manga or play games
If you'd rather learn to draw your own manga characters, don't miss when cartoonist Natalia Batista gives a workshop at the library on Tuesday. If you feel like playing instead, chess, Dragons and Demons and the Nelly Rapp game are offered during the week.

Baking or bowling
Ungdomens hus arranges trips to Ystad and Malmö for cinema visits, bowling and ice skating. Those who prefer to stay at home can bake, grill, play role-playing games or watch movies with Bénka-dí.

Make jewelry and cards
At Österlen's museum, you can learn to make your own paper and seed cards from scratch, and then load them with decorative flower seeds. The museum educator has also unearthed exciting ancient finds that she tells about. The children then get to make their own "Bronze Age jewellery".
