Death of the prima donna

Death of the Prima Donna is a mini-musical about the intrigues around Malmö City Theater and the legendary production of Glada Änkan in 1954.

The performance is in two acts. In the first act, the drama takes place around the premiere of Glada Änkan in 1954 and Kalle Lind and others appear in features on a TV. In the second act, there will be genuine 50s sing-alongs with the audience in focus. The show is perfect for both eating and drinking.

A short summary:

In 1954, the operetta Death of the Prima Donna premiered at the Intima theater. In the shadow of Ingmar Bergman's production of Glada änkan, Malmö couple Sigvard Pärsson's and Alma Johansson's newly written stage work is performed. It is a great success and goes to full houses but is suddenly shut down never to be heard of again. Why that and what happened? Join us as we lift the lid on one of Malmö Theater's greatest mysteries.

The ensemble consists of Pontus Stenkvist, Maria Stille and Caroline Leander.

On TV are Kalle Lind, Tommy Juth, Sissela Benn, Sixten Nordström and others.
