Olof Lundh

One of Sweden's most famous sports journalists, Olof Lundh, gives his view on Swedish and international football, on how sport and politics are connected and why football constantly fascinates so many.

Hear him talk about his long and winding journalistic career, about the difficulty of auditing football clubs and federations and about the current topic of sports washing, the subject of his latest book "The Temple in the Desert: How Qatar Bought the World's Biggest Sport".

In the book and during the lecture, Olof Lundh asks how it actually happened when one of the world's smallest and richest countries, a country that lacks democracy and freedom of the press, where human rights are not respected and thousands of migrant workers have died, was allowed to host the football World Cup.
