Driving game at Glimmingehus: Else & Holger

Can a simple maid at Glimmingehus, who sues the landlord to force him to admit that he was the father of her child, be right? In the shift between the 17th century and the 18th century, that's exactly what happened between the maid Else and the landlord Holger Rosencrantz.

In the performance, this true story, which can be followed in church records and court records, is woven together with southern Swedish and Danish traditional music from old music books from the same time.

The performance is created by Pär Moberg, and the concert is arranged by Glimmingehus in collaboration with Musik i Syd. Glimminge Sängare sings and the folk music trio Grannar plays.
