Cinderella

Cinderella is one of Rossini's most popular operas, known for its lively and virtuoso singing numbers. The classic fairy tale becomes a twisted comedy with nods to our appearance-obsessed contemporary world with social media and distorted beauty ideals.

It ends happily, however. Cinderella finds the prince, the prince finds himself and the wicked sisters remain unmarried and impoverished.
